I don't think that the Z28 should be the supercharged model. Like others have said, I think it is better suited to having a beefed up handling package, stronger (naturally aspirated) engine, and as much weight reduction as can be reasonably done. A full carbon fiber body is probably out of the question, but fiberglass isn't. Lighter seats, less sound deadening, etc.

As for the ZL1, I can't picture one without an aluminum 427 (7.0L) engine.
