Well i dont know if anyone has touched on this yet, but as far as a speed limiter is concerned, I have a 2006 Cobalt SS/SC and that car regularly sees 145 on the highway, so unless my speed limiter is higher than that, which would be quite difficult to reach, then I don't have one.
I could imagine a limiter being placed on botht he V6 and L99 V8 models, but for someone spending the dough to get the SS, I dont foresee it being a wise business move on GM's part.
the only limiter there will be the Redline, and in that case, some headwork and a nice tune with HPtuners should move that back nicely
