Which brings me to an interesting point. Supposedly poor sales of the 4th gens. halted production for a while. Yet I saw THREE camaros within two parking rows of each other the other day at the community college. I also saw a Firebird that day right as I left school.
I reckon a lot of these people didn't buy new - they waited until the car was a few years old and the price was more reasonable. Back in '02 when I was looking for Camaros/Firebirds, the sticker price and payments scared me off, even though in retrospect I could have probably handled it.
