I reckon a lot of these people didn't buy new - they waited until the car was a few years old and the price was more reasonable. Back in '02 when I was looking for Camaros/Firebirds, the sticker price and payments scared me off, even though in retrospect I could have probably handled it.

In 2002, they were priced too high, in comparison to the Mustang.... hopefully GM will correct that this time...
