The computer can make the DI spit out more fuel to some extent, but you can't just put on bigger injectors as you increase the air like you can in old school injection systems. Sure you'll be able to do some basic mods, but I think it may be difficult to go to a forced induction system for quite some time. That's before you get into how much the internals can take.

Ya that's sort of speculation, but it's speculation based on other DI systems.
