My car was produced last week, I take delivery in days...

I posted this on another link: (new text below)

Well gentlemen, I am taking delivery of my Summit White 2010 2LT manual sometime this week! It left Oshawa on Monday and it's now Wednesday! As I live in Montreal, it would seem that tomorrow it may arrive at my Chevy dealer. It's very close to snowing here, so I will certainly have interesting pictures and videos of my experiences with the 2010 Camaro in the Quebec snow storms. YES, this is my daily driver, my recently departed second gen Camaro couldn't muster the control for any snow, so a modern Camaro for me!

Here's hoping it doesn't go to NEXT week!

Addendum to my Canadian brothers and sisters:

It's funny that the warmer weather is favoring my delivery time as it's quite warm here in Montreal right now. The car is on a truck heading my way and should theoretically be in Montreal tonight being dropped off at Plaza Chevy. I ordered a Summit White 2LT with the aluminium wheels and also ordered a full set of 18" Heritage wheels with winter rubber that I specified as slim as possible at 215/65 R18. This may look a little slim, but it will have better snow traction. With the addition of OEM mud guards it should look pretty unique! I have no stripes whatsoever, so it will be a clean and simple look.

I will let all know how my experiences with the Camaro go in our usually hard winters. I plan on taking videos and pics of the snow performance of the car for all to see. I know that you fellow Canadians will be interested, I wonder how the Americans in the southern states will view this uniquely Canadian car ownership experience...

see you all soon!

The perma-grin effect pictured above by a good buddy giving me a ride in my Camaro!
Used 75 Camaro = $3500
Rolling restoration over 10 years = $5000
$5 of gas burned in 10 seconds = Priceless!
