Um who buys a special edition/version of anycar expecting to only be able to get it in cloth seats??? I really do not understand the thought process behind this.
Tell you what GM, Pay for my plane ticket and I will come by and discuss the the packages that you should make available. And I mean Packages... None of this made to order business. You offer certain packages to each trim level. IE.... Transformer edition, Syn Green, Black one, Z28, Dale Jr one, LS7 one, and of course you would have the regular model levels. All you have to do is make them available in one off packages with perhaps the exception of a couple color options. Any aditional parts could be purchased by the consumer from the parts department. Other car companies have been doing this for many years and have done pretty well. I do not know why it is so hard to understand. Also by doing this they could save money in production cost and pass that down to the customer.
Yes I will prob get flamed but its just my opinion. We are not dealing with 100k cars here. I am sure people would be happy with getting a standard packaged vehicle in each trim level.
