Some people claim to have been pulled over in a car becasuse of the color when the police clocked someone else but pulled them over since they had the car that looked fast.
Look all I'm saying is silver white and black are boring. Just cause its classic and or whatever doesn't mean its not boring. As far as the orange being the second best seller, yes its true but just wait until this car has been on the market for over a year and then some when they are just sitting on lots. You will see the basic black, silver, yellow and red outpace all other colors.
In in essence yes I didn't want all the attention that comes with a bright color that stands out, but then I said performance cars are meant to stand out.

I was an AZ State Trooper for 21 yrs - not once did I stop a car because of it's color (especially at night when you can't tell), nor do I know of a single trooper who did. It is a silly "urban myth."
