That's one thing I don't get. Why do people think the SS moniker is "watered down" when the Z badge has been watered down just as much - if not more. The Z06 and ZR1 are great performers, but what about the Z34 Lumina, Z26 Beretta, Z71 trucks, even the IROC-Z of the late 80s and Z28s of the 70s/80s were poor performers. Not sure why everyone always jumps on the "SS is watered down" bandwagon all the time when the Z has been watered down just as much.
