I use a microfiber towel and some bug and tar remover spray I have that has a citrus base, it works great and smells good too.. It's also good for getting residual glue off when you remove stripes or badges.. or the aweful dealer decals...
I have never heard of the bounce thing...not made for cars so I would probably say not a great idea.
