I don't think so!!! I wouldn't even attempt it without a paint thickness gauge and then I still don't think there is enough on there.

Thinking that after 2-3 years "wear and tear" on the paint, I would consider having a body shop shoot clear over it and then wet sand it myself. I've done a couple of my cars in the past and I'm comfortable doing it if the clear coat is plenty thick.

Any body & paint guys have an opinion on this?
