Roush 427R:
* 435hp (near the 400 mark for the 5.0, but remember the LS3 was estimated at 400 and came out to 426)
* 0-60 in 4.7 seconds (matching the Camaro but only .2 better than the current 4.6 Mustang)
* Quarter = 13.1 seconds (only .4 better than the 4.6 Mustang)

So with those stats it really doesnt seem like much of an improvement, the areas id be most interested in would be the addition of the 6-speed transmission, adding a new IRS rear, and putting even more punch into the Track Pack...but then i start to think if you're going to do all of that then its going to change most aspects of the car, so why not make this a Boss 5.0? Leave the 2011 GT the same as the 2010 GT with minor touch ups (normal for yearly changes but keeping the live rear axle and 5-speed, bring the price down and market it as an affordable V8) then bring out the Boss 5.0 (or Mach 1 whichever) which comes standard with the 5.0 but adds the 6-speed, the IRS, and an extremely hefty Track Pack, i would say all those changes could justify an upper-tier model, any thoughts?
the 427r runs MUCH better than 13.1 don't take internet time quotes too seriously, i hope you don't think adding more than 120 hp is going to result in only a .300 reduction in 1/4 time? lol
