That's exactly it. The M3 did not defeat the best time of the CTS-V. It defeated a man who, as I indicated, probably has worse reflexes and still managed to put up a respectable time in the CTS-V. Lutz lost the race but won the advertising campaign. People still see the CTS-V as the car to beat, and they're having a hell of a time doing it.
