That car looks like a pile of crap. That said, a thirdgen CAN be very good in the snow. I've had a couple V6 thirdgens as winter cars, and with snow tires and 80+lbs of weight in the back, they are very, very good. I had a buddy with an 86 LB9 Trans Am with a posi rear that he drove through a number of winters also.

That said, I've had the misfortune of being caught in the snow with my GTA once. With summer tires and without weight in the back... it's a white knuckled ride.
