CJ, how old are you? We've already said twice that there are two versions of the car. One has the hover conversion and is harder to find, the other is easy to find and is missing the cool aspect of the original. Nobody has overpaid since the item we are looking for is sold out/out of stock/print etc meaning the only way to get it is to pay more for it in places like e-bay. If I'm lucky I'll be paying $15 over and $15 shipping making it $30 more than if I bought it when it came out. Had I known about this, I would have bought it on Black Friday since it was cheapest then. However 3000 made is not much by collectors standards.
If you still think all of us are overpaying for a plastic toy version of a car that probably costs $10 or less to make in China, then you're probably right. However there is no other company making this at the moment so we are stuck. And it does look like a premium display product if you're a fan of Back to the Future. So please, enough is enough..
