I just feel ( my opinion ) that the 400 HP will be the base V-8 and nicely loaded will go for somewhere in the 28 - 33 K price range. As for the GT500, the base Corvette beat the pants off of it due to the GT's weight. GM has been very good in the past to get the power to weight ratio where it should be. Personnally I think we will be very pleasently surprised at the final product. When Car and Driver compared the GTO with the Mustang, the GTO out performed it. It was the style of the GTO that did it in. The style of the Camaro.....need I say anymore?
