I don't think so... I think ol Bob was just tossing some chaff into the air. Everything I have read/heard has this engine as one of the supercharged options listed above.
IF they did make it larger, it would require a larger block (IMHO) since the 427 currently used is as big as they could get with the current bore spacing.
