I wouldn't say that statement is entirely accurate. The Mustang has lost more sales to BMW's sports coupes than Camaro's. I've heard that Ford is poised to take on BMW sports coupes when the redesigned 2014 Mustangs are released as a slightly smaller more nimble coupe.
(I know I'm hearing uncontrollable laughter...). Time will tell.
The Camaro and Mustang are both iconic cars. Each have there strengths and weaknesses and we're lucky to have a choice. Long live the new HP wars!!!
