Well, the 2011 'Stang is also finally getting a six speed transmission, so while the weight of the motor might be lighter for their 5.0 counterpart, that 6er is going to add a bit of weight. Unfortunately its all conjecture until Ford puts out actual curb weight. I'm betting it will be near or just under the SS in terms of weight.
