For those reading the thread after this and taking possession of your car. Don’t get so excited that you sign the papers and jump in it and drive off (I know it’s hard to do). You should inspect your car closely for little defects before you leave. Many years ago I worked for a Ford dealership prepping cars for the lot. You would not believe how many cars come from the factory with flaws that have to be corrected before sale!

LOL speaking of that, I remember back when Ford had the Granada, and Mercury had the Monarch.. I was looking on the Ford lot and came across one that was supposed to be a Granada, but had the entire front clip from a Monarch.. emblem and all.. but the rest of the car was all Granada.....And this was a brand new car!
PS QC is alot better today that many years ago... I have bought several GM cars in the last few years and none had anything missing or loose when i picked them up...
