The thing that bothers me (and I'm as guilty of it as anyone else) is when people use outlier examples during a comparison.
"Yea well this car runs a 12.5!"
"Well this car once ran a 12.4!!!"
Always makes me think of some sports fan arguing with a martian.
"Yea well Usain Bolt ran a 9.6 in the 100 meter, so that's how fast humans are!!"
lol.... Maybe I'm on my own with that last one but hopefully someone follows me.
