GM is already working on efficient forced induction. Although it probably won't be for the Camaro, but more of an emphasis on smaller & more fuel efficient vehicles.
i.e... LSJ 2.0L intercooled & supercharged 4cyl, 205hp 200ft lbs of torque (replaced by LNF)
LNF 2.0L DI, VVT, intercooled turbocharged 4cyl 260hp, 260ft lbs of torque
And coming out in the 2010 Chevy Cruze, and other small models is the 1.4L turbo 4cly with 140hp... Not to mention word has it GM is bringing the 1.8L Turbo 4 from Opel.
I also don't see the LSA powerplant being around for too long, just because of it being made for the small niche vehicles they are currently in.
But hopefully GM comes up with something to battle Ford's ECO-boost...
