I'd say that the 250HP V-6 is the gas friendly one....

GM already produces a 6-cylinder that kicks out 302 HP. The inline 5-cylinder that they were using (don't know if they still are or not) in the smaller trucks, Trailblazers, and Envoys was putting out 275 (they're terrible on gas mileage though...I get almost the mileage in my Tahoe with the 5.3L V-8).

A base V-6 will have to start around $20K and climb from there, depending on options. I'd say you'll get the big V-8 model fully loaded for around $40K. The "special" version, probably a year after the coupe comes out, will get up in the $45-$55K range (depending on options).

In somewhat related news, I just read today that MT got their pricing wrong on the GT500KR (cover story a month or so ago)....the actual pricing will put a GT500KR well over $60K....can you imagine paying over $60K for a Mustang that isn't a vintage, mint condition, collectors car?
