yeah, on a stock motor and stock tune, unless you live in a really HOT climate, no reason to do it. If you do live in a HOT climate, you should also get a tune to turn your fans on at a lower temp.
To answer the question...unbolt the thermostat housing...(located at the end of the upper radiator hose...get ready for a lot of coolant to drain out)...remove and replace. Refill radiator, purge the system, done.
