Hey, if an 18 year old can afford these kinds of toys, I'm all for it. I know I wish I could have at that age. I got my Camaro SS 5th Gen at age 38. First one I could afford since high school when I had my POS 73' Z28 in 1986. Mainly because we allways had to have a couple family vehicles and this Camaro is mostly a toy. Though I drive it daily, it's not an AtoB car.
I said before, I didn't want a car, I wasn't looking for a car, and I certainly didn't need a car. I just wanted THIS car. I'm 39 and it's taken me over 20 years to get to afford my toys comfortably.
I'd say to the OP, don't overextend yourself. Leave room for change. Family, hard times, school, or just savings. That's all.
