In general I agree with you. It is RARE that we ban mustang owners here. Mostly we just close threads that are a rehash of an old and overly repeated argument. Or threads that deteriorate into silly name calling.
We don't just punt people that don't like camaros. IN FACT. We've let members back on this site that have been permanently banned for trolling.
So don't make the assumption that we want everyone to be fans of the camaro.
What we want is our members to give credit where credit is due. To all cars.
Again, If your only reason to be on Camaro5 is to tout your car and ignore any of the positives of any other car (camaro owners included) we will ban you.
We've been tolerating this kind of posting from the same people for far too long and we're finally sick of it.
Our previous strategy had been to close the threads that were off the wire but that hasn't stopped the few from relentlessly arguing the same speculative topics over and over and over again.
So now we're just gonna ban them. And to be perfectly brutally honest. If we are forced to choose.... We will always side with the Camaro...
Mustangs Rock.... Chally's Rock.... Camaro's Rock.... Each in their own way... And I'm very glad to see Ford answer with the new GT... In my opinion these cars should be so close in performance that it is always a drivers race. I think for the current production cars (GT vs SS) the SS is the winner. (don't bring up the GT500 it doesn't apply, wait for the Z28 then we can have that conversation) When the new GT hits the streets... then it will be down to who's the better driver.... As it should be...
