Might even get brave and get the intake and throttle body ported and polished.

....I'm thinking I'll be pretty satisfied....(remember, I'm old!) I've had some pretty strong cars in the past including my '69 Camaro that would pull the front wheels with 7" slicks. I'm alot happier to go slower these days and even when my wife wouldn't let me rod the '51 pickup, I didn't put up much fuss....we'll see. In the meantime, I am very interested in the engine mods you are doing to see how they turn out; I'm old-school mechanic, when I went to tech school, points & condensers/carburetors were the norm and getting 400 hp out of a small block was an accomplishment, now they come that way from the factory....and it's net instead of gross. We could throw on a set of headers, bump the timing and re-jet the carb and get some pretty good gains; now you need a cat back, CAI and tuner to get the same results. Different era back then. This Camaro is a far cry from my '69, that's for sure!
Keep us posted with your mods!
