Warning! Lost My Camaro Already to My Wife!

My Grand Prix GTP finally burned down . . . did my research . . . my wife wanted a Pontiac G8 . . . $6000 off any 2009 G8 since Pontiac left in stock since Pontiac has shut down and are closing out . . . 2 weeks of searching.

We could not find a black G8, she likes black, within reasonable driving distance.

I finally coerced her into test driving a Camaro . . . got in a 2LT auto . . . she said it was "too powerful and therefore just too scary" . . . the V6 auto!

Kept looking for a G8 . . . just not one left out there. Wife said, "Well, we just have to buy a GM (brand loyalty and all) . . . so, she said, "Go ahead and get a Camaro . . . I guess I won't drive it much . . . too scary."

Got a call from a local dealer the morning of New Year's Eve . . . delivery truck just arrived with an unclaimed black 2SS 6M . . . hustled over to the dealer . . . not a trick about just coming in . . . I verified.

Took my wife to go see it . . . no trade in; we bought it since we just could not get a G8 . . . "settled" for the Camaro . . . I convinced her to drive the Camaro home from the dealer as a favor for me (and I followed in our old car).

Just two days later now . . . she has not allowed me to drive "her car!"

I said, "I thought the 6 cylinder automatic Camaro was too scary with all that 304 HP . . . this is 426 ponies and a six speed manual! What gives?" She said, "I have bonded with the car on the trip home from the dealer!"

Uh, I have lost my SS Camaro dream car to my wife without even a test drive! The keys have yet to touch my hand! She did let me ride in the passenger seat yesterday . . . once!

Warning! Husbands, do not let your wife drive your car!

Recipricol warning: Wives, do not let your husband drive your car--the same may happen to you!
