If you choose to install these best is to have them as far away from the 02 sensors as cutouts will effect the exhaust makeup and temp which cause 02 sensors to report incorrectly and cause false lean conditions, surging and decel issues so PCM is forced to run a rich bias.

Keep in mind the head designs of today like a bit of backpressure to help extract exhaust from cylinders at low engine loads so another reason for cutouts to be placed in the back rather I have seen many installed up front
