Actually here's a quote from mtcby.

"I find it very funny that so many people called when I did my
Vortech install and got 631 rwhp at 7.5# of boost.
Now we are seeing the same and/or higher numbers with the Procharger and nobody questions it at all. So to all that called BS to me with my numbers I say one thing....F off!!"

Here's another quote from mtcby about his 186mph run.

Quote:
From personal experience, in my SS LS3 I have gone 110 in 3rd gear at the rev limiter.
I hit the rev limiter at 161 in 4th gear. I did 186 in 5th but was at 6300 to 6400 rpm's
but I wasn't watching the tach all that close at that speed. I figure it would have been around 190 at the rev limiter.
When I tried to shift to 6th gear at 175, the speed slowly started to drop
off. Even the vettes can't get their top speed in 6th gear.
These speeds were recorded on my GPS. The DIC read about 5 mph slower.
I figure the difference is due to the tires growing in diameter at such high speeds. The GPS is way more accurate
