When I tried to shift to 6th gear at 175, the speed slowly started to drop
off. Even the vettes can't get their top speed in 6th gear.
These speeds were recorded on my GPS. The DIC read about 5 mph slower.
I figure the difference is due to the tires growing in diameter at such high speeds. The GPS is way more accurate
