What this guy said is true. I've had my Camaro up to about 105, but mostly keep it below 80. I've driven other stock Camaros on a track up to around 145 before lifting and it wasn't the speed that scared me off. Believe me, I wanted to push it further and the engine had more since the electronic limiter was disengaged, but it was starting to become very challenging driving experience and I backed off. I've driven NASCAR stockers well above these speeds and had fun because they were set up for it. I can't imagine anything above 160 being any fun at all in anything close to a stock Camaro.
If you want to go this fast, build a purpose built race or drag car and keep it on the track. If this is your daily or weekend driver, I have one question to ask. Why would you want or need the ability to go this fast?
