I never said that I did not believe a new Camaro could reach 186mph, just that I did not believe the car mentioned as having gone 186mph ever did so supercharged or not. At least not with the stock shortblock, gearing and transmission.

And depending on which s/c the cars has, it doesn't necessarily mean that the car will have an extreme top speed. Twin screws usually run out of air at higher RPM's which are necessary for high speeds (figuratively speaking), where as my Camaro is a top end car with all power and torque very high in the power band. I have zero chance at 50mph roll race towards a stock GT500 even though my HP advantage, but as soon as I can wind it out the car pulls crazy hard

Btw, love your TT GT500! I almost got a 2010 GT500 before I bought my Camaro but I am waiting for the 2011 with aluminum block instead
