That being said, GM should put this in the Z/28, yeah its a crate engine but its got 18 less horsepower than the LS9 and has gotta weigh at least 100 pounds less since its not supercharged, plus it costs about half the price of the LS9, its even cheaper than the LS7

Yea, I like the idea of putting the 454ci in the Z/28. Then you could add a charger and have even more HP

. The LS9 displacement only has 378ci w/ a dry sump and charger, basically a LS3. The ls7 427ci w/ a factory charger would be nice to see in a Z/28 too. Come on GM!!!!! Cubic inches builds horsepower.
