I think Justins case is very rare as I replaced my original headlamps with RS and they didnt work, then I bought the entire RS wiring harness and light switch and only the Halos worked, no actual headlights. Took it to dealer and was told your BCM must have a specific code for HID lights to work. GM will not give out this code, which is insane. Anyway as I said above, there are other options to make them work, but I wouldn't count on being as lucky as Justin as others who have tried this had the same experience as me with them.
