In other cases, folks were die-hard Ford guys and would never even consider a Corvette no matter how much more performance they got for their money.
In yet other cases, folks were looking to buy a musclecar, not a sportscar.

True, the GT500 is the most pony car you can get from the factory. I guess I was thinking of
adding the corvette to my Camaro instead of another pony car
Not that I would complain about owning either!
