I don't know about that. Despite the performance gap between the two cars, the SRT8 Challenger is still a great looking car with a pedigree and not just to Mopar fans. Personally, I'd like to eventually have a modern GT500, Camaro and Challenger in the garage, as there are things I like about all three.
Now, I understand that you
want me to say that the GT500 is "in a class by itself" but that is not going to happen. Because it is not. Whether you agree or not, the SRT8 is certainly in the same "class" as the GT500. While most would disagree, the Camaro SS is also in its "class" as the highest performance version of a GM-produced ponycar currently offered.
