Because the $3,000 Bicycle is made of thin Carbon Fiber, that if it gets so much as a chip or scratch can be compromised, As well the chain grease is about the nastiest shit you can ever get on a surface. And the bike is large enough to hit and damage interior surfaces, scratching the bike and the inside of my car. Then every time I take it out I have to get chain grease all over my hands re mounting the rear wheel on the bike. So logistically taking the wheels off and putting the bike it the car is pretty dumb.

I would think one of the "bones" racks would work
I actually have a Thule rack, the reason it doesn't work is the side straps that prevent it from sliding side to side don't have a good spot to hook on to, The straps slide and pop off. The body seams are too tight LOL!
