What is the big deal? It is just a lower (gentler?) rev limiter.
The no lift shift
is pretty cool in that it causes the Cobalt SS’s (turbo charged) engine to run less efficiently (at WOT with the clutch pedal down) so it can keep the turbo spooled up without hitting the rev limiter too hard. Not that that would help the Camaro any.
