Search is your friend... plenty of people have gears already...

Right now the install kit is hard to come by. You wont have an issue with 4.10s and a six speed (auto or manual). And yes, it will be a DRASTIC difference. These cars should have had 4.10s to begin with. You will rip through first and second pretty quick but like you said, just adjust your driving habits and get used to it. I am next in line for the 4.10s here at a local shop, I will give my review once I get them and the weather breaks.
