How do you reprogram car's computer?
I won't even pretend to explain how its done. There are countless threads and discussions on this forum by the tuners and their customers. Do a search on "Vector Power Flash Tune" for a start. Although, you won't find a step-by-step on the process, you'll get a feel for scope of the process

Does that void the warranty?
Some dealers have a more liberal attitude on performance modifications. However, it is generally agreed that a tune will void your warranty..at least on your power train. I am pretty confidant that I am not going to break my trans, engine or differential. If any warranty work arises with my car it will properly be non-power train, i.e. electrical, body integrity, etc. I had I had the conversation with the Service Mngr at my dealer before a got my car tuned just to confirm that if I come in with a power window issue, they will fix it.

Can the dealer tell if its been done?
This question has been raging around here for months. I am not going touch this....perhaps someone else will want to chime in.

Personally, I think I should bear the consequences of my actions....I play....I pay. Read the warranty; it is an agreement, or contract, between me and GM that spells out the responsibilities of both parties. Why would I lie and make GM responsible for my violation of that agreement?
