First the water was probably only from the seals. They will stay wet a little longer because as you drive the are not getting "air dried".

But the inside of your door, any door, not just your Camaro is condidered a wet environment. With a window that is designed to go up and down, it is nearly impossible for to keep the water out completely.

If you were to pull the trim panel off of the inside of your door, you would see that it is completely sealed off.

So water can get in the door, but should not get in your car.

To prove this, look under you door. Do you see the slots in the bottom along the hem? Those are intended to drain the water that does mangage to get in.

So water in your door is nothing to worry about...................unless it isn't able to drain out because the drain holes get blocked or damaged.
