I installed the Hawk Performance Ceramics this weekend.

Was very easy to install, even with the mod I did to repair Q&C issue with the Hawk pads.
One pad's wear sensor was poorly mounted so the pad wouldn't clear the calipers when installing. I bent them back and re-alligned. Also, only (2) of the (4) front pads have wear sensors. Rears have none. Of course, rears don't wear as quickly and you should do regular pad inspections anyway. But, Q&C was questionable.
Also, the Hawk pads didn't look like the same attention to detail was applied as compared to the stock Brembo ones. The stock pads have a media layer between the pads and the metal shim. I'm guessing this is for noise and/or heat insulation. Only the front Hawk pads have this layer. I re-used the OEM metal shims with the Hawk high temp grease and everything seems to be working fine.
IMHO, I don't think the Hawk Performance Ceramics will offer equal or better braking than stock pads due to the large tapered area, but I'm not auto crossing/SCCA. I bought it for dust reduction with hopefully near OEM braking performance. We'll see in the next weeks regarding dust residue.
