Maybe a little performance increase. There is much discussion on other threads on this subject. (first oil change performance increase). Some think that the computer was set to de-rate the engine until your first reset on the oil life indicator. I did notice an increase in my gas mileage on the freeway tho.
When I am going down the freeway and reset the average mpg it will now stabilize at about 28 mpg. at about 60 mph. I still only have 1550 mi. on the car so I expect that will improve at the next oil change ....
