I don't know why people are saying the GTO is the worst car ever built. Yes, my car is ugly, but I didn't buy it based on looks. I bought it cause it had a 400hp LS2 with a T56 6-speed, it rides and handles better then anything I've previously owned, it's reliable, it's VERY comfortable to ride in for long drives as well. I like the fact its not flashy looking, cops don't give me a second look when I drive by, even when I'm driving in a 'spirited' manner. I wanted a muscle car and the GTO was all that GM had at the time and there is nothing wrong with it other then looks. Now that the Camaro is out I want one bad, I've always loved the Camaro, owned a third and fourth gen. My main point is don't go knockin the GTO just cause it was a bland looking car. It was a serious contendor in its class just like the Camaro is today.
