I'd hate to live in the tiny cave you call your world. There are actually quite a few people out there (myself included) who appreciate CARS. I'm on this site because I was considering picking up a Camaro. I currently have a Mustang. So I guess the reality is that there are more than two types of people.
All I can tell you is that you were missing out on a lot while you were pushing your minivan past the mustang dealership. (or most other dealerships for that matter)
