My shift points for my stock camaro are like this:
into 2nd: 10-12
into 3rd: 17
into 4th: 25
into 5th: 30
into 6th: 45
This will keep the engine at 1000 rpm and anything below that I feel lugs the engine too much. Shifting at these points has gotten me 25 mpg.
