The average joe doenst know ship about cars...they just hear Camaro is coming back and go buy one, or mustang has a redesign so they go buy one. I doubt the 5.0 had very much to do with sales. The average user on this site(most car sites for that matter) is not that informed about the car he/she owns and ask plenty of straight dumb questions. Just read through the pages of stupid post after stupid post. Then go to a mustang site that has more than 150 total posts and you will see the same thing. Average people trying to learn about the car they already bought.
I still say 2011 mustang sales are going to be weaker than 2010. Nobody gets excited for v6 versions....I dont care which car brand you prefer. So that wont bump sales...eventhough most mustang sales are 6 cylinders. LOL mostly because chicks drive them...kind of like a vw bug.

Well, you don't have proof that wasn't the reason. Also, don't doubt the intelligence of current car shoppers. Thanks to the world wide web anyone can do deep research on any vehicle and they do USE it.
