FenwickHockey65's 10,000th Post...

A few people have made 10,000th post speeches...thought I'd continue that tradition. Probably will end up rambling, so bear with me.

I signed up here over a year ago...it was the Shunt thread that had me laughing for hours that summer day and lead me to register. I actually hadn't really been too big of a fan of the Camaro when I signed up (hell, my first post here was about the Cadillac CTS Coupe ), but the minute I saw those pictures of the production Camaro, I was hooked.

I still remember when we learned pricing for the 5th gen...I remember all the freakouts over ambient lighting...I remember everyone being impatient to receive their cars and having to remind everyone that GM was doing their best to deliver a car that would last for years and years...and now, many of you have your cars, and most of you have forgotten whatever it was you were annoyed by.

I've never met the vast majority of the people here, but I really do feel like I've known you guys forever. I won't mention any specific names so I won't accidentally leave anyone out, but believe me when I say I am truly grateful to have known each and every one of you. Looking back, I've shared a lot of my life with you guys, complaining about stupidity in high school, prom, graduation, moving to college, complaining about stupidity in college ()...and a lot of you have shared your lives with me as well, including that magical day when you all took delivery of your brand-new Camaros.

So yeah. It's been a lot of posts, a lot of threads (one in particular...), but here I am at 10,000 posts. I've truly enjoyed my time here, and I'm looking forward to the next 10,000 posts. I can't wait to see more people take delivery of their new Camaros, I can't wait to see what GM has in store over the next few years, and I can't wait to share all that with you. And maybe, some day, I'll be starting a thread about my own Camaro (or Regal...or LaCrosse...or Cruze...or...whatever other GM vehicle that I've become enamored with).

Thanks Camaro5 for all the good times and good friends I've made here. And thank you all for supporting GM.
