Actually come to think of it, if it isn't your shocks, then I'd check the engine/ tranny mounts. I had an old '75 Chevelle Malibu that did something similar to this when I first got it. It would vibrate and make hellacious noise at higher speeds but not at lower speeds. It ended being a combination of worn out suspension not being able to "soften" road bumps, and a broken engine mount.
