I am a
huge baseball fan (mostly Astros NL , Rangers AL) but I love the game itself. I played, my son plays (catcher) and I help coach his team. We go to 10-15 games during the season, and catch the rest together on TV when we can.
Since Spring Training is under way, I thought I would start a thread for other Camaro owning baseball fans to discuss the season, and maybe talk a little trash. It's a long season, so we have a lot of time!
Who are your team(s)? Do they have a shot? Will the Yanks repeat? What offseason trades did you like? Who do you think will have the most HRs and RBIs this year? Cy Young and MVP candidates?
I personally like the offseason moves the Astros made, though I doubt we will make the post season...I hope, but I doubt! The Rangers are so close, and I love what Nolan Ryan is doing with them, but I don't think Vlad is the answer. I loathe the Cards, but I think that they have a shot at the WS this year.
